A Federal judge removed an Injuction on friday that prevented the enforcement of the Alabama’s strict Sex Toy law that was passed in 1998 from being enforced.
Any Sex Toy Shop or Retailer in the state of Alabama in the United States have been warned to clear their shelves of all toys or face the penalities outlined by Alabama’s 1998 obscenity law – up to a year in jail & $10,000 in fines for a first offense and one to 10 years in jail for a second offense.
The law itself only contains exceptions for toys & devices that are for medical or scientific purposes (which I’m sure will allow some to slip through the loophole).
