Titan a popular Gay DVD studio has recently filed 22 Lawsuits against Peer to Peer file sharers & also a number of Bloggers. As Adult Material becomes more & more freely available online, these illegal activities really start to eat into the profits of man of the studios that still deal with DVD Sales, so it’s of no surprise really that many are willing to step up & take this kind of action.

Back in September as many as 65 of the leading industry directors met to discuss what action needed to be put in place. This latest move by Titan looks to be possibly the first of many lawsuits to come.

Current data shows that only 20% of Adult DVD’s & Movies are actually being legally distributed. Leaving a whopping 80% unaccounted for. This is a very worrying statistic for the Adult Industry.

TorrentFreak recently wrote about the various methods that the Adult Industry could use to wipe out the Pirates, which mostly involves infiltrating the root sources & having them shut down from the inside. However, as with most other popular sites that have been shut down it’s generally not long before a new one resurfaces under a different guise, making this solution nothing more than a temporary fix.
